James Crocker : About Me : Self Portrait
I' am the sole owner and operator of Crocker Computers, CNY Biz Services and CNY Tax Gurus.
​I started working on computers back at Hannibal High School in Hannibal, New York between 1988 and 1992. I remember that time fondly - the old green inked copies, huge computer monitors, simple basic computer programming courses in BASIC, MSDOS and the typing course with a favorite teacher.
​Then I learned about working with Apple - MacIntosh computers while studying to be a teacher at SUNY Oswego in Oswego, NY between 1992 and 1996. I started working on the computers of family and friends - repairing hardware problems and troubleshooting software issues.
I continued acquiring computer knowledge through self learning until I decided to go to ITT Technical Institute in Liverpool, NY between 2003 and 2005. After graduating as Valedictorian, I immediately started working for myself as a computer technician.
In 2014, I decided to go back to school one more time to acquire accounting skills so I could manage my own business and help several business clients with their accounting and computer problems.
